My Story and My Passion
The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
I am Maximilian Perauer, the chef and owner of Zweiender Restaurant. Our story is deeply rooted in my family's values, which have taught me from a young age the importance of effort, sacrifice, and love for family. These values shape our restaurant's concept, creating a warm, familial atmosphere where every guest can feel at home.
My parents, who have always supported and inspired me, have shown me the importance of hard work and passion. My father, a master butcher and hunter, instilled in me a love for the highest quality meat and a deep respect for animals. These principles are the soul of our restaurant and are reflected in every dish we serve.
Zweiender is more than just a place to eat – it is a place where families and friends come together to enjoy special moments or celebrate events!
We took over the golf course in 2007 and have steadily developed it over the years. In the fall of 2011, we rebuilt the old cabin and expanded the kitchen and terrace in 2019 to offer our guests even more comfort and enjoyment. Since then, Zweiender has been open year-round, allowing our guests to experience our hospitality throughout the entire year.
In our restaurant, we often see families playing a round of mini golf together, enjoying a good meal, and sharing laughter-filled conversations. This joyful and warm atmosphere is what defines us.
Our love for cooking and family runs through our entire philosophy. My journey as a chef began at the gourmet hotel Sieghard in Hippach and took me through some of the best kitchens in Austria. Today, I bring all these experiences and the values my parents taught me to Zweiender. We source most of our vegetables from Tyrolean farmers and offer wild-caught fish to ensure that every dish leaving our kitchen meets the highest standards.
Our goal is for every visit to be a special experience – marked by excellent cuisine, warm hospitality, and an inviting atmosphere.
